Enjoying low and slow in my newest acquisition Justflight Chipmunk.

I made the mistake of thinking the Canadian version was a complete plane when I bought the Eurofighter and have just bought the base pack to make it work. I'am
very happy with it so far it has a nicely weathered cockpit and the passengers not bad either.

Lovely pictures there sir, the Chippy is one of my favourite planes and Just Flight did a good job on this one. Every time I see one I am instantly transported back to being 13/14 again and remember having several Air Experience Flights with the ATC, flying up the north coast of Cornwall. Happy days indeed. :) Just starting a clean build of FSX and yep the Chippy is the first addon installed.

Cheers

I like the way you start it with a bit of wire, I was going to get the grob 115 by iris but thought the chippy had more character and I already had the Canadian addon wish I had bought it when it was on offer would have saved a few quid.

Very nice photos. And JF did a wonderful job on the panel etc.
I have been upside-down a few times in real life Chipmunks [most of the time intentionally]. I love the look, the sound, and the smell of them. The only negatives are that the front cockpit is quite tiny and the rear cockpit is only a bit better. The main gripe I have is that since it was an ab-initio trainer it was not endowed with much horsepower [4cyl. DH Jypsy Major 145hp engine]. When you lose Altitude during your maneuvers it takes FOREVER to climb back up to a safe height for your next attempt at perfecting your skills. That does get kind of old after a while. I had dreams of buying one and installing a 180hp. lycoming in place of the little Gypsy. Of course that never did quite happen due to family needs etc. I would gladly own one today just the way they are. I would just not expect too much from it like I did when I was younger.
