Well......

Postby CHUCK79 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 1:51 am

......not the shots of Dino's F-14 I was hoping to post (my brain was too tired to learn the new procedures). I'm gettin' pretty familiar with the Superbug systems though.....

Doin' some routine carrier traps and noticed someone who didn't belong in these waters.....

Got him lit up with the laser.....aiming for midship.

Managed to catch a shot just after release......see how the missile exhaust lights up the fuselage!
Image

Rolling to the left while the laser tracks the target to guide the Harpoon missile home.

No more toy boat O0

Beautiful shots !
And once again: that was close ! I mean, the harpoon is supposed to be launched from a much greater distance, isn't it ?

Thanks guys O0

@Stephane....the targets are very close because I'm just using AI Carriers to throw them out in front of the aircraft.......kinda like a good ol' fashioned skeet shoot!

Ideally, the sub could have been destroyed without even establishing visual contact. But, then the shots wouldn't be very interesting..... O0

Great set Chuck! Your a real menace to the enemy!
Reminds me of a PC sim/game I flew in the '90's called Jane's USAF! Long range, short range kills. Night vision, Flir!
Kept you pretty busy in the cockpit!

Good to see your still tearing up the skies and seas!

I had Janes USAF too! It was a great flight sim. I loved whacking the ground targets and I was extremely disappointed when I couldn't get it to run on my present PC.

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.
