VFR EKCH - EGSH

Postby Bass » Wed Dec 11, 2013 9:20 am

A flight in my Aerosoft F-16 from Copenhagen to Norwich.

Preparing the journey and getting clearance from ATC.

Checking, checking and checking
Image

Getting some help with my "back gear"
Image

Taxiing and feeling mr. Winter touching my bones
Image

Setting course, checking, listning to ATC chat and talking to the moon
Image

Finally, got the old county, that slipped away from Europe a looong time ago, in sight
Image

Destination Norwich, landing approved
Image

Now its time for a nice cup of hot tea with milk and sugar, AND then a visit to the nearest pub

Dont know when i'm able to fly back tomorrow  Maybe i should wait one more day :shhh: ;)

Wonderful shots, and wonderful story, Kurt!... ....!

...and welcome to England!.... :D ...!

The controls on that cockpit look as terrifying and confusing as the buttons on my Television remote control unit.... ;)...!
..and I bet that F16 is somewhat faster than my trusty Cessna 150 Aerobat, even with its exhaust driven turbocharger engaged!... ...!

Mind you...you know my feelings about dangerous, cold weather flying... ;) ...!

Just like Paul, it doesn't like the cold ground. So it's more than willing to get off the cold ground and stay there as long as possible. :D
