A Titan Rises

The mighty Brabazon airship lifting up and out of Heathrow EGLL during a stormy morning.
Cropped, resized, along with very-slight lighting, contrast, and gamma tweaks. No color adjustment.
This is one lumbering aircraft that has always agreed with me. Find her in the Simviation files library, FS2004.

Thanks for the comments, fellow simmers. Have edited the shot even more since, seeing I'd not noticed the cowl flaps shut on #4. A little digital magic and voilà: open cowl flaps. Should consider being more careful with the key presses before making some expensive noises with an otherwise perfectly good aircraft.

Heathrow EGLL and the Brabazon seem to work well together. A kiss of light and gamma, a tick less saturation, and we're there.

If you like lumbering in an elegant white elephant then this be the one. Am thinking that a fuel-efficient turbine-powered, contra-rotating propped, and slow airship could be a really cool thing in real life. Sleeping quarters, movie theater, bar, lots of personal space, just like the real Brabazon had (except for its 8 piston-powered Centaurus engines). Think of her as an Air Ocean Liner for relaxing, take-your-time-and-enjoy trips. http://simviation.com//fsxvintage14.htm Or we could convert a TU-95. Am good with either though a due deference to the Brabazon.

Am pleased you like the shot, Nighthawk, thanks. Fortunate timing with that one. Nice Starship in your sig, one of the best images of good ole' NCC-1701 I've ever seen.
Oxford must be a similar kind of small village like the one I've chosen to retire in. No substitute for cleaner air and water. Nosy neighbors can be handled though:
