Need a Tow

Many thanks to Dave T for his tip on getting the tow-plane in the picture (hold down the control key and then + or - to zoom in or out from the locked spot view)

Glider is the Slingsby T21 from here at Simviation
Tiger Moth from Ant's Aeroplanes also from here
Scenery by ORBX and Sky from REX
Effects are just playing around with the presets in Microsoft Digital Image Creator

Wonderful set Rich...like the way the pictures came out with the use of the different settings...I use Picasa quite a bit to edit my screenshots and then BD Sizer to re-size them.

Must find a good Payware Tiger Moth...must have Deleted my Ants Tiger Moth, my Harvard and a few others when had problems with this electronic gizmo.

Thanks for the comments chaps I have gone very retro at the moment, the older planes have more character with none of those electronic thingies to get in the way. I have no idea what I'm doing with the photo editor just click on a few things and see how it turns out. Doug as far as I know the only payware Tiggy is from Just Flight which is a tad pricey unless you see it in a sale anywhere. Ant's freeware offering is great and there's loads of repaints out there for it.

Hey Shadowcaster, did you try "Luc's schlepp"? Great programme for towing, for you can make circles.

And nice pictures!

Thanks, hertzie.

Nice shots Rich and the TM didn't have enough power to get my modern gliders airborne.

Thanks again for the replies chaps.

Dave The Tiggie seems OK towing the T21 I picked it for this session as the Chipmunks (Rick Pipers and Just Flight) had an annoying tendency to veer left or right off the runway the TM goes as straight as a dye and copes pretty well with T21, good old wood, fabric and dope :) .

Jean a quick look around seems to suggest that towing is not possible with FS2004 however there is a scenery add-on that allows you to do it, it's called Emma Field only problem is it's payware review here http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/content.php?686 and here http://www.avsim.com/pages/0403/emma_fi ... field.html the second one is for FS2002 but I would imagine trouble is I have no idea where to buy it can't find a link anywhere. It might be worth contacting SimMarket http://secure.simmarket.com/default-en.html because I think they used to sell it.

Never mind Shadowcaster, since my bank account is in triple ceros (aka "no bank" either) I am a regular & inconditional "shareware fan" :violin: :violin: :violin:

No worries sir there is a good site for some great gliders here http://www.fsglider.de/p_e.htm and I think in 2004 you use the slew mode to get up to height. :)
