C 124 over Mt Shasta

I had some fun (as usual) with this composite.........took my night shot of Mt Shasta, added a runway below and a nice C124 just took off..............

Enjoy

You are doing it again.Lol.
You should do a Coffee table book with your Pics.

Btw,what program do you use to work your screens?

Love the shot.

Thanks Anthin...........and I do have some photo books that I've created.
Many of my screen art composites require layers, multiple layers and various masks and Adobe Photoshop works very well....
I also create a prop effect for the specific aircraft as most simulators don't quite capture that realistic quality in the screenshot.

Thanks for the reply my friend.I don't have Photoshop,
wish I had. I was a Maritime Artist most of my life.Sailing
ships, old ports etc. I got into computers late in life but never
with my Art.

I do admire what you are doing and look forward to more of
your works.

Howdy

Look forward to sharing some more of my work.......I too got into pc's late in life and I'm like a sponge when it comes to learning new and interesting things........
As a professional wedding photographer (semi retired now), started in the 70's I relied mostly on color labs even tho I had a b/w darkroom..........I also turned to graphic arts, photo touchup, publishing etc.
Now with the digital world at your feet, the skies the limit eh !

If you are interested there are great free photo editing programs at your disposal such as GIMP, I've never used, but before I took the PS leap sometime ago I tried
http://www.getpaint.net/ it's an open source editor much like photoshop, and very powerful.............

Also with youtube at your fingertips, it's easy to learn each tool inside whichever editor you want to try............
Photoshop used to give you 90 days trial to see if you want to buy it..........so this might work for you as well.
And pm if you'd like to discuss this further.............

Just holler if you need any other assistance eh
