You certently are getting forwards, Rich

One little thing with my binoculars on, the Trojan looks a little blurred zoomed out (#1)!
Maybe its your editing on the shot

I'm not quite sure what your edits are, unless it is the map, but I'm with Doug,

shot number three for me!

Exactly. I took a picture that I had cropped, and later decided that I wanted a better shot of the plane with the pale blue sky, so I enlarged that area.

If you notice the shadows on the plane in picture one & two, you'll see shadows cast by the sun being close to the horizon (daybreak).

That's the first time that I've caught a pale blue sky. It looked significantly better on my monitor, though. :D

The last shot - "Good night" was just that. I'd spent much of Sunday installing a new SSD just for Prepar3d.

It was a TOTAL success. My load time has pretty much been cut to one third of what it was.

When I saw the sun setting behind that distant mountain range, I knew that it couldn't get any better.

And that too was cropped to show what you see above.

Side note - Although I frequently use three monitors (mostly on the weekends), almost all of the posted pictures are taken from a single screen.

For anyone who's thinking of trying out a flight sim, let me say - GO FOR IT!

As good as most of the pictures are on SimViation, the real picture on your screen as you fly, will be MUCH, MUCH better than any static picture.

Number 3 is my favorite too.

It brings back a long lost memory of a visit to a rural farm near the Chippewa River in Wisconsin, and another one to a farm in Franconia Notch, Vermont.

And even more memories of walking the Appalachian Trail in Virginia, and looking down into the Shenandoah Valley at sunset.

A rural valley, just at nightfall, is a special place that no one who hasn't been "there", can imagine.

Of course, if you've lived there as a teen, it's probably the WORST place in the world!
