Tx. Pete. In 10 years P3DV2 improvement is clear, but FS2004 is still good using an external weather..
I took that caps in order to have a comparison of the results with FSrealWXlite.
Sorry, but what do you mean with "edited"?

I love seeing the progress of FS over the years ... :)

You posted these in the 'edited' section -- where people edit their screenshots before posting?

I didn't notice the direct load here at Simviation. I saved previously in photobucket. Next time I'll use the right place. Many thanks.

Nice going on the comparison, papi
I for sure love that little weather engine inside my REX4 ;)

The comparison shows that inside "grandpa FS9" there is a weather subprogram that can process more complex data than default.
This weather engine, FSrealWX, works also in Xplane. http://www.fsrealwx.net/
Good luck with REX!

No need to say good luck, papi. That engine is working like a charm in REX

Thank you for the effort, nicely done!

REX4 Texture direct does have nice texture sets. I bought it to add to DX10.

There sun and water are not that great in my opinion but there are some

good WIPS out there.

Question? Does P3D V2 have Cloud Shadows? :?:

Cloud shadows and reflections can be set in P3D. Sorry for that big size.
