Posted: Fri Nov 30, 2012 4:15 pmWhen I was in the Navy back in the 1980s I served as an AO with VF-2 and VF-24. I was around jet noise everyday and I love the sound. The 1st time I came home on leave to visit my parents here in Texas it was so damned quite in the house I couldn't sleep. I had to get a box fan and turn it on high to fall asleep from the roar of the fan. To this day I still do this and I've been out of the Navy for over 24 years. Nice shot of the F/A-18 BA.
