I took this in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. In my opinion this is the best WWII air combat sim ever.
I detached myself from the TB-3 mothership right before we lifted off...

Nice! I miss that ole sim. I was never any good at dog fighting so I always ran in a bomber. It used to be you were able to assign positions in the bomber say a Heinkel. I would be the pilot and my friends would be the gunners. We'd get all shot up and they would cheer me on to bring the crippled beast home . Damn.....I think i'm gonna reload it today 8-)

Eheh, I still play it intensively. Even yesterday night I suited up to fly my Yak-15!

I like the bigger aircraft to dogfight like the P-38 and BF-110. The smaller ones like the P-51 and BF-109 stall way too easily... Unless you have real skill!

This game is still such a classic game. i used to fly that TB-3 under bridges.
