None of those are correct Andy, except for Paint.NET and a completely diffrent saturation effect.
I ended up using so many effects I had to spread it through two image programs!
This isn't the order, which due to the amount of effects I can't remember.
1. Paint.NET Metallize (You can download the plug-in from their site)
2. Game Maker 8.0's built in sprite editor's saturation
3. Paint.NET's contrast
4. sharpen from both programs
5. Blur edges from 8.0
6. Blur from 8.0
7. Brightness from I forgot which program
8. LOTS of copying and pasting from both editors
9. 8.0's magic wand selector
