Nice!
The Blackfish HUD is composed of:
The main Attitude indicator, including the pitch and bank angles on each side.
The Altitude indicator on the far right side and the KIAS indicator on the far left side.
The mach indicator on the bottom and the heading indicator on the top.
Now, it has three clickable spots:
"HELP": Displays tags explaining what each displayed data means.
"Carrier Ops": Displays a box in the center to display the VS using 3 types of images: The red down-pointed arrow when the VS is negative. The white top-pointed arrow when the VS is positive.
As the VS becomes 0 three diamonds appear at the center of the HUD: a small one for VS between +10 ft/s and -10ft/s. A larger one for VS between +5 and -5 and a larger one when the VS is between +2ft/s and -2ft/s (that's basicaly when it's zero, it has that interval so you'll be able to see it).
The the other working option in Carrier mode is the folding wings and tailhook retract/extend. Just click on those.
The "Launch" doesn't work because I couldn't get the simvar that controls the carrier catapult.
The square next to the Carrier Ops is the ASM (or Anti-Submarine Mission):
It rolls down to two options: Extend/Retract MAD probe (Magnetic Anomality Detector) and the Jamming device for the jammer pods outside (Which actually doesn't do anything).
The plane also drops the external fuel tanks if you press the red button on the right side panel, behind the dark grey vent.

It doesn't fly level unless you trim the elevators down a bit. That's caused by the aft mounted wings. I tried everything to correct that, from pitching the engine exhaust nozzle down a bit to add more weight on the front. It didn't solve the problem completely but it would be worse if it didn't have those corrections...

Well to be honest, so far in FSX I've yet to find any military jet engines over 400 knots freeware or payware and I've flown ah bunch that fly 100% perfect, every model I've flown has had it's own set of +'s & -'s so if you ask me Xpand did a outstanding job for ah freebie! 8-)
