Full power is applied and the brakes are released.... will he make it? Can this mission go as planned? The B-25's engines are screaming as it hits the end of the deck. The aircraft dips below the deck and hearts stop... then, as if rising from the ashes, the bomber re-appears and it is now known.... this can be done!

This is a rendition of a Dolittle Raider taking off from the USS Hornet.

Just wondering, what makes this a non-entry, and why is it here if it's not an entry?  :-?

Maybe because it is:

1. Not a fighter....a bomber.

2. Not carrier based (except for that one time for Doolittle's Raid.)

Just a guess.....not sure how strict the rules are.

Ah, I see, the theme title conflicted with the description a bit, and really narrowed the choices a lot.

Problem solved. 

As long as this isn't edited, and showing Payware, I'd accept it.

Haha, thanks guys. The contest description does say something different than the title. So I just went outside the box a bit, as the B-25 for one mission was a carrier based aircraft!

However it is slightly edited and has Rex. Therefore a non-entry for the contest.

Bummer, because its absolutely gorgeous. 

Nice one, I thought of doing the same. Maybe I'll have another idea....,
