As for your picture, it is well within the limits. And you can make it even bigger if you'd like 1024x768 and 150kb max.

If the picture is not uploading, my first thought is the file name. Make sure there are not any symbols or spaces in the name. Make it simple like "July5edit" or something like that.

the editor your using to compress the image may be faulty and giving you the wrong compression level

this thing keep saying  22915 kilobytes cannot be uploaded....lol? i changed the size of the picture 10 times....still 22915kb lol
