1941 Willys Coupe

Postby 121200 » Thu Apr 30, 2009 3:50 pm

Hi Guys,

i hope you dont get tired of my cars :D
looks like im getting better in hand painting vents and so on,
only the sidepipe got a bit to dark..well but it fits right i think.

You might also notice that there is no "bling" and blurring this time. Trying to give it a more realistic look.

The original pic is on the edit this time.

As allways, let me know what you think.

Cheers
Chris

[color=#000000]I prefer the original color, but the burple is nice too. And I love Willys'. Nice job.
Hope it has an LS7 under the hood.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Hey Patchz,

im really sorry but to recolor a white car is pretty hard. i never could do a good one.

I would take the request if you find me a good Picture of the Car.

That looks really good man! Well done on that one! Would look cool with some ghost flames on the front... but I know that might be hard to do on the computer.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Now you know why I asked you to do it. I had already tried. I just thought you might have better tools to work with. The best I could come up with was a light blue. Thanks anyway. :)

Not at all. ;)

Create a new layer, and set the opacity of the paint to 50-60% and color the car. The paint will keep it's color, but still let the underlying details and reflections show through. 8-)

i did that on photofiltre...but i can only get unrealistic looking colors or they are just a real light color touch...
