A bit of a hybrid here, everything from the horizon line down is a photo, and from there up is FS9. After the two were joined, it went through a bit of coloring and here it is! :D

Kind of a stab at your style of silhouette shots. The plane may be a little too dark though. :-/

No, the plane's not too dark.

I really like the subtle blurring on the whole image. Also, the placement of the aircraft, along with the specific color tones used make this a very well done composite.
