Postby chrism7262 » Sat Jul 28, 2007 6:57 pm

hey. this is my second go at this and this one focuses more on the scenery aspect. the bachground and the hornets on deck is a real photo, but the T-45, F-14 and the Hornet that just launched are added in.

it still needs work any suggestions are appreciated!!

Hey, hey, Chris! Quite excellent for your second one! You are way ahead of the curve, M8! It looks beautiful!  :)

To receive suggestions, you will probably need to have a larger image as it's difficult to see detail in one of this size. However, the overall image is great! At this point all I can say is, "Keep makin 'em!"

You have a good eye for color and composition. That can really be the hardest part. Most of the rest is just technical skill which is acquired over time. Color and composition are more "intuitive" and are difficult to acquire a sense for if it doesn't come naturally.  ;)

Keep makin 'em an postin 'em, Chris! Most of all, have fun! If we stop having fun with this stuff then we've lost our way somewhere.  :)

I tried adding some blue and purple to it, but it was barely visible and ended up making the yellow\orange darker.

You can add bright blue around the afterburner.
