A comparo of simple edits to age a shot

For this week's StudioV Judge's Choice, which is featuring gigantic planes, I decided to go with the original gigantic aircraft, the 747 (specifically the City of Everett) on the day of its original roll out.  I felt it appropriate to "age" the shot, to give it the nostalgia factor.  With my lackluster editing skills, I decided to do a simple B & W or Sepia edit to age the shot.  I thought I'd share the comparo with you.

In the end, I decided on the Black and white.

Nice job.  Only thing I would recommend is I think that cutting just a piece off the nose like you did doesn't look good :-/.  If you want to cut...it's got to be big pieces.  But just the tip like that...personally I don't think it looks that good...

That's my opinoin...not trying to be negative...just trying to help :).

But honestly.. its not much of an edit if you just hit the black & white button and call it done. I learned...
