Hee heeeeee! Playing with filters is fun!  :)

Looks like it's woven out of rafia, Rich. Not my cup of tea but the only important thing is that YOU like it. Who am I or anyone else to say if it's "right" or not? Entirely a matter of one's subjective impression.  ;)

As Kleen Harry said it looks like its woven.  its a very cool effect, but maybe if you turned it down just a bit it the aircraft would look more visible and there could be a balance between that and the woven effect.  

Most important thing is that you are happy with it.
