For a sec I was thinking - "whats an Eastern Air Lines 757 doing parked at an AFB with various fighter jets doing flybys" but then I realised it was the NASA research plane. Stunning edit on the second, and painstaking recorder flybys. ;)  [smiley=beer.gif]

Beautiful edits! How do you manage to make your aircraft look so real?

Thanks guys..  With photo paints it's easy mate, but a little desaturation can help alot, also with grey paints it's good to use some blues to bring it to life and then a tiny anount of diffuse glow and a tiny bit of noise.

They are all nice images, Brett, but I guess my tastes run a little differently on the first non-edited and edited images.  :)

It seems that you've lost some good detail in the blue area on the front of the 57 as well as in the left turbine and especially in the fighters. I would be nice if you could keep all of the changes but still retain that nice detail! Lightening things up just a tad in those specific areas would restore the detail.  ;)

Of course, just my subjective view. If you don't like the idea then, by all means, stick to making what you like best. That's what art is all about, IMHO, making something that YOU like!  :)

Thanks very much gents.. And for the tips there mate, had to darken the bottom of the fuselage cus of the Island that's reflected in it lol.  I could have put the foreground into it which I tried and wasn't happy with.   The lighting also was coming from 6-7oclock very high which would leave most of it in shadow.  Stuff to bare in mind for future work thanks.
