Two things you might want to consider regarding composition:
1) It's generally a good idea to leave some breathing room around the aircraft. In this case, it seems to want more room above.
2) You might experiment with cropping some of the water off the bottom. You can just hold a sheet of paper in front of the image on your monitor to get an idea about how different crops might look.
As regards the image generally:
1) If you like the lens flare, by all means keep it. Personally, I've never cared for it much. Seems like kind of a distraction to me.
2) You might want to think in terms of telling a story with your images. It gives them focus and purpose and provides a reason for putting things where they are in the image.
