Actual aerial photo I took...

I know, the FS plane looks very small in this image on the "edited screenshot" page, but Monkey^
inspired me to use a real photograph for a change. The fun part is that I actually took this photo from a plane
very similar to the one in this photo! Of corse when I was shooting, the entire door was off! Taking off is quite
fun. Just rev the engines to max and pray for a good head wind!! (runway is a bit short)

PS, I added some new 360VR interactive panos to my new site. It's easy to return
to this location as I included an easy to see link at the bottom of my home page!

Very nice, my only criticism is maybe use a more "photoreal" paint  ;)

You are right, but I think that is a stock FSX plane. Also, I slapped this together with a plane I had shot
already so the lighting does not match. I need to re-shoot the plane in bright sunlight. Finally, the
compression really took a toll....

I am wondering now why I even posted this. Oh well.

to say that that photo is tunning is an understatement, and a photoreal paint would seal the deal, give a shot....  could be a gallery possibility?  ;)

Awesome shot, mate!!

Is a good quarter of that short runway actually unusable??  :o

I know how you feel about comments - it often happens that one posts something one is immensely proud of and it's met with silence and disinterest.... there are many reasons why and it's never clear. Often it's because the work, while creative, is too far out from the norm for people to appreciate.  One has to be ready for it - don't take it to heart!  :)
