Personally, I rarely use lens flare, so that looks a bit weird to me. If you want to use it, dont make it as bright so it won't be very distracting. Other than that, it looks pretty good. Keep at it!  ;)

I like the lens flare :D.

But the lighting is weird with the circle around the plane...it looks like part of the sky is dark and the other is light :-? :P.  I see what you were trying to do, but I think that's just a bit TOO dramatic...try to get dynamic lighting without ruining the reality of the shot...

Great job there 8-).

I think also the lens flare would have looked better if you had just used the bloom bit in the middle and not had the random ring around the outside ;)

I used lens flare in this shot for the lights:

Can't remember what settings, but you really need to tone it down so it doesn't completely stand out and ruin the shot.

Never overdo things, unless you're going for an abstract look.

I like it even though it's a bit OTT.  Very creative  :)  The reflection of the mountain and trees in the window gives it an added dimension, and the ultra-bright lights convey the feeling of having them shining right in your face.... the dark shading is too extreme at top left for me though, and from the other replies I guess this shot didn't hit the spot with a lot of people....

Keep 'em coming!
