Great pic Akeboshi, and welcome to SimV!!!

All looks great to me, except for the plane taking off on the  right, looks strange with the other one only just ahead, and in the same  livery, similar size. Could be parallel runways of course, but seems IMHO strange... otherwise love the shot, atmosphere, reflection, lightning, light trails.... :o

I'm not sure about what you wanted to achieve in this edit, Akeboshi. Can you explain it to us, so it'll make more sense?

I think he's trying to achieve a lightning type photoshot. If you go on airliners.net you'll notice on lighting shots there are sometimes blurs of other aircraft. This happens because the exposure has to be kind of long to catch the lightning. No person can ever catch lightning on reflexes alone.

I really like the idea, 1st one like this that i have seen !!

I reckon you should loose the second aircraft in the sky though, it looks a little odd.....

Great job though, keep em' coming :)

cool shot! of your going for the blurred aircraft during camrea exposure thing you should have it as one continuous blur (i think, i may be wrong) nice reflection on the ground too!

Thanks guys! I went off of a picture from Airliners.net, and the aircraft in the background was at 2 different locations like that. I will try the blur the next time. Thanks again for the comments ;)

No, I get the shot now. You shouldn't blur anything. It's a very cool pic. This is how the photo was made (I think :)):

The photographer set the camera to a very long exposure time with a small diafragm opening. So, in the photograph you see the plane standing at the airport before take off and while taking off all together! I think the plane stands out at some place because of the thunderstorm. Whenever there was a lightning, the plane reflected the intense light into the camera lense. You could see it as a kind of stamp. A really cool techique!  8-)
