Barret 6: Expedition to Barann...

Barret was awoken from his mid-eclipse musings by Melancthe digging him in the ribs.
"What you dreaming about?"
Most of the fun with the eclipse over, he decided to tell her about that time on Berann where he'd been in the thick of some fierce atmospheric air combat - not just any air battle, but one which had marked the beginning of a new era....
He had actually told his wife about this several times before, but neither of them knew it; they'd both opted to have their memories suppressed (not wiped completely) for items that bring pleasure in the retelling... keeping things always fresh and new.

Well, this was 700 hundred years ago, mind, ages

Dang... only 2 "real" replies out of 101 reads. That means that about 50 different people already read this and only 2 made a comment on this great story and shots.  >:(

I hope you're not regretting all the hard work, Krigl. You deserve better... :'(

Thanks a lot guys!

Sytse, thanks for the support! It is a lot of work, as any editor/poster knows.

I have to say I'm pretty much used to not getting comments on my work these days, and started this 'story' in full knowledge
that most people will ignore it on SimV. It's not just my work either - people generally seem to be commenting less on other people's shots.... I blame FSX  ::)

But that's their free choice, if a picture set doesn't 'speak to them' then it just doesn't.... it doesn't make them bad people, just perhaps busier than before... or lazier   ;)

That's why I've started posting at another site - if I add both sets of comments together the
feel-appreciated factor starts to reach satisfactory levels..... ;D
