well... I have been Handcapping my FSX by running it in 1024x?? (not sure) which was the limit of my CRT... but I have solved that issue... by getting me a new 22" HD monitor for christmas.... so I can now run the game at 1600x1200 (not sure why... but I cant get it to run at its max native of 1680x1250 though I think that has to do with the BFG 7800 card that I have... ??)  

Excellent f-16 shot, greay lighting, although the cirrus clouds look a little weird, maybe its just me.

You should drop the questin about the resolution in the hardware forum.  ;)
