A B-24 seperated from its squad heading to Wake Island after endureing heavy battle damage. Stevenson the pilot and Smith the copilot bring the B-24 down to land...

Stevenson: "Alright were almost there, Call the tower and reqest landing, let them know possible damage to landing gear and other surfaces. Engine 4 has a fuel leak, but I think it will be ok for landing."

Smith: "Alright, Wake tower, were on final some possible damage to landing gear and other surfaces."

Simple little story, not the best but I felt it added something to the shots.  Havent seen many stories recently so I figured I would post one  ;D

Oh and if anyone is interested I have a larger version on the last pic available, I think it would make a nice wallpaper  ;D ;)

Edit: Sim is FSX, man I love the failure options, just for fun I set the fuel pump to fail, engauged the aux and the engine was fine  ;D. Fire effects and sparks are nice even though you cant really see them here.
