Spent some time with this one. Actually not really. :P I think it looks alright for 15 minutes of work.

I'm not the biggest fan of the rain, and you should probibly get some lighting effects for the sun for a cloud breaking effect.

Oh yea, you should probibly also lense flair those nav lights for a more realistic effect. Take a look at one of the edits I did to get an idea of how that works.

Cheers

If you're going to use a lens flare, you will have to choose the right one, and edit it correctly. If you just pick any old flare, and slap it on, it can look highly unrealistic (and can in some cases, ruin the image).

Try to replicate this kind of look:

Lights 1

Lights 2

Lights 3

Of course, if you want to make it look like a photograph, you'll have to take shutter speeds into account, too. A low shutter speed has been used on the first two pics, one because of the low light, and one to get the blurred props.  If you're looking at your image through the eyes of a person, then there'll be no need to make the lights look that way. However, if you want it through the eye of a lens, then you're going to have to add some background blur aswell, showing the low shutter speed.

Anyway, if anything, you should be putting anti aliasing on. ;D

In photoshop the 50-300mm flair at about a 60% brightness makes a very nice flair for nav lights.

Not to be harsh but... wheres all the Anti-Analysing gone?  :o

I think it's a good shot but I feel it's let down by having an AI aircraft as the focal point, as it lacks detail. Other than that I think its good, the lighting is really well done IMO  ;D

What about the ingame AA then? That's software rendered, right? Or is it already on?

Anyway, nice basic shot. :)

Already on. :P

I'm not saving for a video card until I get a car. That's my stance. :)
