Thats quite good!!

looks quite realistic, looks very compressed though

and the only thing that properly shows it as fake is the smoke from the front tire of the jumbo.

cheers

this was my first try at smoke.  i really need too look at some pictures and see how it forms.  i used a filmgrain effect btw.

my mistake

IMO it may look better without the grain effect.

if you were going for an "old photo" effect then that was pretty much out of the question as soon as the A340 came in... ;)

but other than the smoke its a realy good edit, keep at it, you could probably become very very good!!!

better than i could ever be ::)

cheers

That does look great, the 747 is certainly very well blended :)

One or two little crits' though. The angle on the 747 is as if taken from ground level, as appose to the backround which is taken from standing. (ie. you should be looking at the 747 from a slightly raised angle, and see a bit of the tops of the tyres) Thus the whole undercarriage looks slightly out of place.

Also the SA airbus is white, so the BA 747 (also white) should be the same shade, whereas its a bit bright.

Sorry to rip, and they above are really little imperfections on an otherwise great edit, just trying to help:D.

BTW i think the smoke is very well drawn, just like you said some photo referencing could give a more realistic spread ;)
