Thanks Guys, had to do a review on this one and was hesitant on getting good shots with a flat black plane, it's hard with those, happy with the outcome though. Thanks all for the feedback.

Cheers,
Bob

woah....awsome.... :o truly awesome

On to business though :P I have a question. I've sort of been through the website screenshotart.com (i think it is where your work is displayed) and have come across the tute's on placing aircraft on real photo's and using the masking layer. Would the easiest way to do this be taking the shot on a fairly contrasting background and getting Paint Shop, in this case, to automatically find the edges in your selection and go from there or would you spend a heck load of time freehanding every edge yourself?

Again, great work!

Yep, i'm an admin there at SSA, as for getting the plane onto the background, I just draw around as close as possible and copy it and paste on the background and just clean up the rest with a small solid eraser in Photoshop.

Thanks Gents!

Thanks fellas! Did more work on it from the suggestions I recieved at SSA. More shadows to the aircraft, the clouds in the foreground are now less blurry.

Thanks,
