Last night I had a couple hours to kill and nothing to kill it with.  So took a couple shots and decided to play around in Photoshop...which I haven't done for a long time.  I was quite happy with the outcome when I got home this morning :)

Heres the origional...I cranked up everything for this.  Has to be one of the crispiest shots I've ever taken.

Didn't like this one very much.  But it was kind of different ::)

These last 2 are my favorites.

This one surprised me on how clear it came out.  Wasnt expecting it to be that way 8)

And last but not least.  My favorite...even though its way to dark...but then again...most of my work lately has been dark.

I did try to make the taxiway under the engines blend in a little more.  There was that nice gap of grass showing there where it shouldn't be ;)

This is the first upload I've done since the new system has been setup...I like it ;)  Saves a lot of time :)

The original pic is really neat, but only about 50 kb...
It could be much crispier if you don't compress it that much. Try to get as close to that 100 kb as you can.

I like the edits and the last one is my favorite. It kind of looks like a photo taken with one of the first colour-cams.  ;)

Very nice.... I like the effect in 4 a lot...

...I can never understand why people say they're bored though... I mean, how do you reach that state, with a computer and FS9 in front of you?

The only place I'm bored is in waiting rooms, queues or in public transport when I can't sit down (and read). I can hardly wait until the first brain implant chips come out with FS14....

Bordum comes quite easilly when its 11 PM and the party your headed for isnt till 2 AM ::)  FS is great but 2002 leaves a lot to be desired in the scenery department and views.  Addon scenery only gives me 4-5 fps :-[  I was dealing with 6-7 fps to get this shot at default Ohare. :-X  New computer is still awhile off...I plan to build one but money is really tight right now.  And its eather new computer or trip to Taiwan to see my favorite girl in the world ::)  I'm going with Taiwan 8)  Then its a new truck.  Then computer :P  Money priorities kind of push computer down the list.

And there is a little burnout with FS i've had lately.  Computer hasnt been running all that great and I've almost completed yet another circle of the world with my VA...I think its the 5th or 6th time now :P This is like the 20th time I've ended up in Tokyo.  Getting a little boring with no fantastic scenery to explore no matter where I go.

Well first question would be do you have Photoshop 7 or better?  I dont know of many programs like it.  And I also have a lot of extra filters and such.  Eye Candy 4000 ect.

Mainly how I produced this one was by playing around with lighting effects.  First I fixed the taxiway issue and added the jetwash.  Then a few filters that I cant remember.  I forgot to save a full copy of the origional #4 before I flattened it and saved it :-[

I messed with Hue & Saturation, Brightness & Contrast, etc.  Added a little Noise for that older photo touch and then messed around some more with various filters ;)  That slightly noticable "wavey" effect to the lighter parts of it are from one of the EC 4000 filters.  That much I remember ;)

If I had a photo you were thinking of wanting I could see what I could come up with.  Every shot comes out different.  Depends on what you have to work with to start.  And when just messing around you will never reproduce an exact effect twice.

Also if your wanting a printed photo for your wall I would go through Yahoo photos.  I use them for all my photo work.  They are great prints and you can get anything from wallet sized to huge poster sized ;)  Matte finish is always recamended ;)  I had an FS edit printed for my portfolio awhile back.  It came out great ;)  Looked more like a real pic 8)  But be warned...You have to do the resizing...or else it will be printed as is, meaning a horrible crop...or in my last forgotten resizes, a lost b-in-laws head :-[
