Spooky edit of a wonderful bird.
Shame about the TSR2, she may have made a great aircraft for military use....  ;)
Great edit! 8) :D

Fantastic shot of one of the best aircraft designed by the British.

Had the British government allowed this aircraft to come to production I beleive there would be no Tornado. The TSR2 could do all of those roles and more.....possibly even Mach 3

Nice.
The Tornado would have been built. The TSR2 is great, but untill you stand next to this thing you cant begin to imagine how big it is. It couldn't have done the low level flying quite as well as the tornado. In my opinion.

I have stood next to one,  ;) RAF Museum Cosford  8) And ive been up close to Tornado too  :)

I would agree that the .2 may have been less manouverable at low altitude than the smaller Tornado, but I doubt britian would have been involved in the project, so whatever *Tornado* became, it may have been somwhat different to what we have now.

the tornado actually has a lot of TSR technology inside the guts of it.

as for the why's and hows we will never know, but all i an say, is it is a sligt blessing as the GR tornado is ccertainly a world leader in what is carried out, no other world nation aircraft can actually match it.  THe F3 however is a different ball game l together.

Get rid of the scruffy edges and that could be mistaken for a Michael Rondot painting...:)

It would have replaced the Canberra thats for sure. It might have scuppered the Tornado but an aircraft like that would have kept British aircraft comanies in business and we would have had something else.

And it was said after the first Gulf war that nothing does low level like a Buccaneer. :)
