Well heres my first post. I feal i coulda done better if i knew how to get a good "old look" to the photo. Took forever to outline the bloody thing and i counda done that better but it still looks good for an hours work.

the background is nice, i think, little glare on the 52 and there was part of an engine in the botton right corner i got rid of, can till kinda see it if you look ;)
sorry about the incorrect linking

Hey AMA071, welcome to simviation!
Nice edit, but there's room for some improvement:
- Take a better shot to start with. This plane is a bit pixellated. You should try turning anti aliassing on on your videocard then you can nice crisp shots.
I don't know what program you're using, but if you're using one of the better programs (paintshop pro, photoshop, ...) here are some other tips:
- Adjust the levels (ctrl + L) or use autolevelling (ctrl + shift + L) to get a better colour balance.
- Use filters to add "old-effects" like adding grain.
I don't know what you mean by outlining, but if it means cutting out the plane then maybe I could give you some tips to do it faster. I need to know what program you're using for that.
I think you did a pretty good job, concidering your shot wasn't the greatest to start with. Theres not much more you can do.
Happy editting!

The cut out i know coulda been better but again the pixilisation on my comp. I adjusted the levels and contrast i just couldent find how to mix it all. and if you look carefuly there IS grainyness in he shot

Well... do you mean the plane is to dark / the background is too light?
You could use a bit of light grey colour dodge on the palne and a bit of light grey colour burn on the background. Experiment around with different fill types and colours.

Nice edit! A bit too much contrast maybe, but very good none the less... :)
