GeForce's Entry August/05

Postby GeForce » Sat Aug 13, 2005 10:46 am

Hi all,

Had an hour free time this afternoon and decided to edit a screenie to put into this contest. As always, I'm going to post the original as well so you can see exactly what I've done. (From CFS3 by the way.)

Very quickly: Resized, duplicate layer, blending to soft light, 1.2px gaussian blur, contrast/brightness up, added hills/trees. Lots more but I don't have time to write it all

Wow! You made it look a lot better! Nice hills, shame you can't see the rain in front of them though...

Nice edit, but is that a dusk/dawn shot?

Good point about the rain - hadn't noticed that really.

Edit: See what you mean about dawn/dusk, sorry. Was asleep last time. This is actually a dusk shot, though it is much less obvious in the edit because I've lightened the pic up.
