CaptainCub's Edited Entry August 2005

I call this DAWN OF SPORT AVIATION:
Image
As dawn breaks over the midwest in the year 1910, the pilot of a Curtiss Pusher makes a low pass so a young boy with a camera can snap a shot. Unfortunetly, due to the plane's rapid motion and the slow shutter speeds of cameras of the period, the shot comes out a little blurred, yet still dynamic. Tonight the boy will go to bed and dream of the day when he too will play amongst the clouds....

Thanks. The picture was inspired by a similar shot I saw in a book of Orville Wright making a pass over the crowd at an airshow in 1908.
