My thoughts...

criticisms
-The plane in the foreground looks like its rolling downhill rather unnaturally. This is because the left landing gear is at about the same level as the top of the treeline in the horizon.

For the rest:
Picture perfect
Amazing edit Mistral, that lens flare really sets the atmosphere, and the lighting... thumbs up!! You also totally nailed it on the composition. Great job!!!  :) :D :D

You got me there Alpha ;D, lets just assume that the airfield is on a slope ;).  Thanks for 'the rest' :) :) :)

OK... airfield on a slope... got it!  ;D
Very nice edit, I like the dark/light contrast and the lighting edge around the foreground plane.

Beautiful job Mistral.
Sometimes the dark ones have some of the best  charactor as is the case here.

Thanks everbody. :)

Can see where you are coming from Skiligmund, a very similar tree line ( i had a quick look ;))

I dont really know why Chrisco, but my edits always seem to end up really dark, at least i have got an excuse in this one.

And EW_Prowler life is good with editing software lol :P. There are many free ones, but i use Photoshop Elements, which isnt really that expensive, a worthwhile purchase...

Really nice edit.  I think that one thing to make it look better is to add a little orange glow onto the departing plane.

See how it glowshttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/865138/M/

That's not a criticism, just a suggestion for the future ;)

Thanks once again Chrisco  :), i knew what you meant, i was just having a dig at myself.

I could see where you were coming from Jake, so i thought i would have ago with your advice.

In my opinion i think you were right, i think it does look better, i had made some attempt at the red before, it was just too subtle. Dont know if anyone will see the difference, because the pic is to small though, i've really got to stop with all these minute ones ;D
