A couple of edits

Postby clayman » Mon May 30, 2005 6:27 pm

Here are a couple more recent edits. I've posted links underneath for full size and composition. Did quite a bit of painting on both. Hope you enjoy ;)

Thanks Corsair Freak ... I got a couple of Sair's I did too.

But one of the best Corsairs I ever saw was done by Squibby over at Screenshotart ... it was a beaut! He used the Freeware version for FS9. French I believe, I got it here way back.

Wow, detail is positively superb.  Some of the best water I've seen done here since Bananabob.  Beautiful stuff.

Thank you all very much for the fine comments ... it is very much appreciated! :)

Sock, M.R.Maiornikov hit it right on the money ... these are both from IL2. And I don't have a monster off the shelf system (LOL). Build them all, for about 6 years now ... this is a year old with a very vanilla 9800XT at the time of these edits. I dropped an X850XT PE into her a week ago ... and OMG :o

SeaNorris ... very glad you noticed! Yes, it is one of Hammerd's very fine skins. A very beautiful Seafire ... Escadrille 54.

Thanks High_Flyer240000 ... but Bob is a master and I am but a grasshopper! ;) ... and I cheated a bit ... the sea is from SH III ... some of the best around (sim wise). I did a couple of hours painting on each ... more on the Seafire, especially the wake and reflection.

Thanks again guys ... I'll keep practicing!

I just like the modesty of Bob's little friends... They come in, drop some mighty extraordinary fine shots ... And say they'll keep practicing!

Respect!

Welcome to the madhouse, btw!
