My first edit!!!

This is an alphajet of the Belgian air force. The sky has been edited... replaced with a real one and there is a nice blur effect behind the aircraft, as wel as some general integration and smoothening. Hope you enjoy. This is my first entry on this forum! :)

I used the photoshop "ocean riplle" effect because I thought it would give a nice jetwash :P

Very nice shot, I like the heat blur, you may want to tone it down a bit (make it a tad less obvious), duplicate your pic, add the effect and reduce the opacity of the layer.
