Finaly... Photoshop 7 has arived!

Postby Triple_7 » Fri Dec 10, 2004 3:57 pm

After nearly 2 weeks of waiting my copy of photoshop 7 came in.  My design graphics teacher helped me track it down for a surprising 60 dollars...It is the full version as well.  I use photoshop a lot in class but have not had the chance to use it for screenshot edits.  So now I can and here is the first one.  Its not the best but i am slowly learning tricks to making them better ;)

Probably FSP or Meljet- freeware.

Great edit, except that 777 engines don't smoke like that!

The aircraft is in fact a FS Painters 777-200 modified AI model.  They fly great for normal use after a few changes.

Most of the smoke is acualy had to do with a cloud.  Not intetional.  Without backing way up and having to redo a lot I just left it as is.  There was some darkening that i did but not to that extent ;)

As for finding Photoshop 7 for about $60...My teacher found and ordered it for me from some website he uses.  It was a used copy but like new.  He also got some kind of discount sence he orders from them a lot.  I can try to get the website Monday if he will tell me.  It is a legal copy though.

Ah...used. Gotcha now. If he'll give you the website, that would be most delightfully wonderfully great.  ;D ;D ;D

I love photo shop.  In class i use it just about every day for something.  Anything from photo edits to freehand peices.  In fact...My entire new website is built entirely in photoshop ;)  Its a great program and with some addon downloads it is even better;D  Though version 8 i have not used yet and probly wont anytime soon :P
