Nice One Eric! :)

Great Airline and I remember Vancouver well...there is a big change from the time that shot was taken and now.  I know there is an air museum on the island, is there one at CYVR?

Thanks

Cheers....Happy Landings...Doug

Looks like a DC-8?
Judging from its typical "grin" on the nose...which is actually the ram air inlets.

anyways sweet shot of a forever HAPPY aircraft :)

Hi
Thanks for the replies. There is no air museum at YVR that I am aware of, but I wish there was! The plane is great and is available from Historic Jets http://www.simufly.com/hjg/

Thanks again
Eric

Oh I remember the old DC-8 from YYZ when I was lots younger.....more in the TCA then Air Canada colours.....in fact, I still remember that the Air Can ones used the CF-TJ series of reg numbers....
Viscount was CF-TH* , the Vangard was CF-TK* , and the DC-9 used CF-TL*.......used to spot them all the time on 23L approach, which I lived under, from 1958 on........
