is that the PMDG 737? please tell us all which it is! I need it lol!
and how did you do the heat effect\ reflection? or is it a trade secret?

nice edit, but drop the "heat" exhausts coming from the cascade veins of the engines. The reverser airflow on those type of reversers is just bypass fan air, which is neither compressed nor heated in the combustion chamber. Bypass fan air doesn't travel thru the engine core at all, hence the name
;)

Thanks for the replies guys! It is the PMDG model for sure.

that looks to be coming from the rear of the engine, no tthe R-T outlets ;D

Yes I'm sure about that...they aren't called "cold stream reversers" for nothing ;)
However, the DC-9's for example, have a full ducted fan, the cowling encasses both fan and engine core stream, and both are used for reverse thrust via a clamshell mechanism :)

thus powerbacks are made fully possible:)
stunning edit by the way

Ok, if you say so. The yellow cars are blurred, so I figured there was heat coming from the cascade veins of the engines. ;D

lol sorry guys but I had to add a poll before, excuse the pun, this discussion gets too 'heated'.

btw, those yellow things are blurred. which then adds a valid point to the other argument lol.

Put it this way...
The term cold for the bypass air in a jet is purely relative, compared to that going through the engine core (which is very hot), it is "cold" air, but has still been next to a very hot engine core (if you look at Nexus' diagram) and has gone through compressors itself. Hence the "cold" bypass air is probably quite hot...
On a warm/hot day (English style, 30degC+), you can often see a heat haze above the ground, especially road surfaces/runways etc. Now this isn't particularly hot, they probably get to around 60 - 70degC max (?) if that.
