Some "Vintage" photos . . .

Well, I have gotten a little bored around here lately, so I decided to find a couple of screenshots and see what I could do to make them look "vintage".  Here's a couple of the Wright Flyer I found while searching.

What do you people think?

Excellent, but just a little constructive critisism: Try making the pics a little more "speckly", and don't put so much blur on. A very small amount more red in the pic wouldn't go amiss. Also, there is not quite enough contrast in the first one.

Hope that helps a bit Ender,

That's great!  What did you end up doing to it?

Oh, and it isn't my pic, I jacked it from a post here on SimV. ;)

That's more like it Michael, well done. Ender, if you compare that with yours, you will see slightly more noise/speckles & less green/blue.

Brilliant editing both of you, well done ;)

I'll have to have a go at this ;D ;D

That's pretty good!  What did you do, and with what program?

I've been using PSP 8.0 recently, but it just doesn't make a good edited shot.

Thanks Ender ;)

I used Photoshop 7 to add a little bit of speckle and increase the amount of red in the image. PSP 8 should be able to do the same sort of thing if you know how. I, unfortunately, don't, so you will have to find it out ::)

Here's another one, a little more recent aircraft:

And another edit of that same shot that I just thought looked kinda cool:
