Heat Haze

Postby GeForce » Wed Dec 10, 2003 9:11 am

This is my first try at a heat haze in PhotoShop 7. It's not the best, but not bad for a first go is it?

Let me know what you think ;)

Cheers paul. Why the Greek version? Why not is more to the question. I just thought this was a nice shot to have a practice edit on. No particular reason really lol ;D

Thanks again

Hi Jonathan

Sorry if my question seemed a bit abrupt  ;)

I only asked because I did the original textures for the DSB Eurofighter ( it took me many weeks!  ::) ) and just wondered why you 'seemed' to prefer the Greek livery.

Nice little edit Jonathan, which art package are you using?

This is just the Ripple effect in Photoshop 7.0.1. Then I put it over into ImageReady 7.0.1 to make it smaller without losing too much quality.

I think this one is a bit "spiky" and needs to be more "curly", I'm gonna have another go at it sometime.

Yeah, well done. Seems the heathaze is really putting people to work and it shows. The shots are getting better all the time.

Great edit, some constructive critisism though. Just make it a little shorter, as the plane is tilted. Looks good though, I couldn't do that. ;D

looks good but just doesnt look quite right when i look at it, mainly because the plane is tilted and the haze is straight, good job though
