My first look in here.....to my eye, I was sure it was one Privateer on top and two Libs below?........ ???

On research, the PB4Y-1 was designated a Liberator in Naval use and not a Privateer ?.....findings may not be totally accurate, but I tend to lean towards the Lib retaining the Lib name if it has two fins and the Privateer as having a single larger one ....?

I'm no expert here but i know some Privateer type taild Libs were called Liberators for some reason. Winston Churchill had a Liberator called "Commando" and that had a Privateer type tail but was a Liberator. I must admit I always thought it was the Naval version that was called Privateer though.

Thanks for your comments. I go the PB4Y-I Privateer label form a book called "LIBERATOR America's Global Bomber" by Lloyd.  If in fact I got it wrong I sure would like to know, most of you know my love for this ugly old thing is a strong one, I guess it came from my Dad.  Sorry it took so long to respond, but I lost everything in a strom, even this picture.

Sorry to hear about your loss Fido pal. I'm certain you are correct in calling that plane a Privateer. It looks very much like a US Navy version to me and, as I said before, I'm sure all the Navy ones were called Privateers.
