My First Edited Shots

Postby RichieB16 » Wed Aug 06, 2003 2:02 am

OK, I was playing with PSP7 tonight (trying to learn the program) and I decided to play with some screenshots to see if I could age them a little-and see how they look, so here they are:

So, what did you think.  Any recomendatios on what tools I should use to make them look more realistic.

The second one is really nice, but I think it would look better with an older aircraft.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing but I was just using a shot I already had.

I'd say add about 3% noise and then reduce the colour depth and then add gaussian blur before turning it to greyscale.  I do my WW2 edits in Photoshop 7 as it has the duotone feature, so I can make them more borwn and grey than black and white...but PSP doesn't have that, so greyscale will have to do for you. ;)

Great shots for a first effort, though.  All I did was turn mine greyscale and then post them...LOL. ;D
