I hear ya Ken...I've got to stop posting all of these approach shots! LOL ! For some reason this angle just before landing with the sun reflecting off the lense, always reminds me of real pictures I used to take at the airport near me. This is how they always looked. There was this spot I could always get to and sit and watch them as they came in. As for the sun effects....yeah it is my Sig. It kind of gives the picture some "dimension". I guess another rason for always posting them is even though they look like just a sun effect, there are different filters and adjustments made to each. Maybe I should post the "before" and "after" pics!
Thanks for the response!

Dave :D

Dave , ya need to get your lens recoated.....seems the internal elements are constantly giving you flare...... ;)
When I used to do lots of photog this was a very unwanted side-effect of a "cheapo" lens as it usually obscures part of the main subject.......try using a lens hood  8)  jk

Haha Ken, I wonder if I didn't click, "Filter, Render, Lense flare, Position, Adjust", I could fix that problem! I could also save some money on buying myself a hood!! LOL
I know that in good editing.....you should only use the effect if it is right for the "subject" or "to make the composition" of the shot pleasing. Maybe I will not upload these so often and just keep them in my personal "Lighting Effects" folder!!! LOL

Dave!  ;)

Excellent Job!!

I especially like the blur from the engine heat - I love it when people make it so real!
