First attempt.......Be critical

I have just been playing around with a few of my old screenshots and Photoshop 7. I must admit that

Joker, this is not an easy task to explain, but I'll do my best in a PM for you....that way, I won't take up too much space in this area talking about stuff that may not be of interest to the masses.........that OK ?

p.s. btw, the magic wand tool is a good start but is frustrating to everyone who doesn't understand what it does....(it sees brightness levels)

An IM is fine, thanks I look forward to it.

I understand how the Magic Wand works yet still cannot set the tollerance correctly. I either spend hours selecting tiny areas or select half the picture at once and then de-select the relevant areas while un-selecting the parts not needed (does that make sense?). Any advice will be helpful and any info on using layers would also be appreciated, but only if you have time.

Regards,

Joker

Just another couple of pics I have been playing with this morning.

The idea again was to make it look like it was taken from another plane (maybe another B-25 in formation?) I intentionaly left the black area on the left to try and make it look like it was the blured edge of a finger or something (like a lot of my pics

Been trying a variety of things with Photoshop today, you know I have had it for about 3 months but never really used it for much more than resizing screenshots. I have to say that now I have started to play around with it I am blown away by the posibilities and can't drag myself away from it, sad eh.

Another picture I worked on. The original was a bit pale (the pic was taken with little light breaking through high cloud) so I set to working to brighten the image up and make it a little more realistic. I think it turned out ok and wouldn't look modified if you hadn't seen the original.

Cross-hairs would be very nice.....

A: We got him on sight sir...
B: Then drop the bombs!
A: But sir, there is a human being out there!!
B: They are the enemy, now drop the bombs!
A: But-
B: But nothing! Drop them!
A: Whatever you say

...............

B: HA HA HA!! Look at the sucker going down in flames!
A: That wasn't very nice

;DJust made that up thought i would share it. Off-topic though.

I do use Photoshop, and although I do use #7, it doesn't have to be, but you can do this with just about any prog that will allow you to select and fill......this one is done on a second layer, then with the ruler selected and the circle selected for me to see how large in diameter it is, I select one single row of vertical pixels splitting the image in the middle, and fill it with black......I do the same for the horizontal and VIOLA !
