As we all know, Bjorn, the Me-262 was too little, too late.

Even though, it still kicked lots of butts during its career.

As soon as the Battle of France ended the Hurricane was obsolete. It was found that the 109 should be tackled by the Spit while the Hurricane went for the Heinkle. Just remember though, the Hurricane shot down more aircraft during the Battle of Britian than Spits, Others( other AC), Balloons, and AAA combined. And she also was a better gun platform due to her nose angle. But you gotta admit: the Hurricane IId made one hell of a tank buster in North Africa [smiley=evil.gif]!

PS-I'm also stuborn (my parents say it from the Scotish and German in me)

Viggen- loving the Hurricanes.

Well about the edits...   ;)

Add more darker smoke to the hits on the spitfire, and in the least make them less straight.  Yeah, I know, CFS3 doesn't help much in making they're bullet strikes look a lot like that.

I'd vary the background colouring too, maybe add them onto a differnet background, but that's VERY difficult unless you alter the planes colouration and everything.

Other than that the composition and everything look good.  But hey, who am I to say  ;D

Just to add to the arguement:
My He-162 (D?) with forward swept wings would of pwned you all... just try it in IL2.

Well I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree then - they were both great fighters in their own different ways, end of story.

P.S. Yep, the Hurricane was one helluva tank-buster. I can't take that away from it. ;D

P.S. Your sig seems to forget the fact that the Hurricane was obsolete by the end of WW2 wheras the spitfire.... wasn't. And also, while the hurricane shot down more aircraft in the Battle of Britain, that was only because of numbers.

Now that's a contradiction, if I ever saw one!!  ;D

All this discussion on which one is a better plane is, truly, a good discussion, but I think, it might be better to start one in real aviation and keep my thread on-topic. I must say, its quite disappointing to spend so long on such an edit, only for an off-topic discussion to break out on someones favourite plane.
