did you get the HDE sky updated for FSX?
may not look like it does much but it gets rid of the 'segmented' sky and i think it also ads a more realistic colour to the sky.

You should also try
1. Striking software Fswc
2. ENB bloom
3.Striking software sun mod.
4. HD moon texture v3.0 8-).
They can decrease the frame a teeny bit (especially ENB bloom) But Change your Flightsim experience 8-)
