Since our weather here, in the PNW, is seasonably lousy, decided to fire up the old Cub and see how Rex portrays moderate/heavy rain.

Good evening all... :)

Hi Dave, I find inclement weather is still not portrayed that well in FS2004 or FSX.

I am sure they are making great progress for the personal computer on this issue but to me rain and snow does not look that real at all.
When I do a flight in inclement weather like a thunderstorm for example the only thing that looks real is the drops on the windshield... :)
I am running a very good machine but not nearly as good as what Larry just bought so he might see a big difference...not sure until we see some of his posts.
